Resolved - Between 01:55AM and 02:53AM PST we experienced some disruption to our service. The primary impact was that users were not able to login to ChatGPT or the API Playground. Some other requests may have been affected.

API, ChatGPT & Sora Facing Issues

Resolved - Between 3:16pm PST and 7:38pm PST on December 11, OpenAI’s services were unavailable. We began to see recovery for API traffic starting at approximately 5:40pm PST, and for ChatGPT and Sora around 6:50pm PST. We mitigated the issues at 7:38 pm PST, and all services are now fully operational.

OpenAI will run a full root-cause analysis of this outage and will share details on this page when complete.

Resolved - Between 05:19AM and 07:05AM PST, some ChatGPT Enterprise features had degraded performance. The impact comprised of slow logins and degradation in performance of the Workspace Analytics tab, the Members tab, and the Compliance API. We have now mitigated the issue and recovered.
